lovely colours - I didn't know you could sew through modroc - I thought all the plastery bits would kill the machine. You learn something new every day :)
I did give the modrock a bit of a bashing before sewing it on Sarah and it seemed to soften with inks and paints! Never tried it before but Mail art really does encourage me to experiment with textures and ink. :-)
