These were the backgrounds I received from Jean:
and
And this was what they looked like once I had done my bit:
and
I didn't realise until after that second one was finished that I had inadvertently left the word "crap" by the umbrella lady's face - oops! :D
Like a lot of you I found this project a real challenge! The hardest bit for me was not being able to use a pen or pencil to add a bit of a drop shadow to my people, or to grab an ink pad to ink the edges of the card a tad....
It was fun though :)
WOW. These are great. Yes, I really enjoyed the challenge, and it was a challenge, and hope that some time we could give it a go again. (Perhaps next time I could follow the instructions correctly).
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the first one keeps making me think it is the poster for an opera, and I keep trying to think what the opera might be called. Definitely not by Mozart, though.
Wow Sarah those are fabulous, I love the heads on the characters - genius that and the crap word - made me giggle!
ReplyDeleteThese are fan. I love the dancing dinosaurs, I'd love a peek at what goes on in your head, I really would :-)
ReplyDeleteoh no you wouldn't lol - and they are actually fish. Do you remember that song "fish heads fish heads, roly poly fish heads"? I was singing that the whole time I made this card :)
DeleteFlipping heck, that pink one is a scary looking fish! And no - I never heard that song but love it - it's made me chuckle on this dreary morning!
DeleteFan - fab! Grrrr.
ReplyDeleteThose are brilliant and they really made me smile. Can we do this again please?
